GARY LUX
Gary Lux is one of Hollywood’s premier music mixers, with literally thousands of projects to his credit. As a thirty-year music industry veteran, Gary joins Sanctum LA as producer/mixer and will oversee the sonic excellence for the group. He has recently mixed Ma’ayan Castel’s, “Walk On Water,” and “Courage.”

Mr. Lux holds a sterling reputation within the industry for musical excellence and for accomplishing high volume projects, on time, and within budget, all while maintaining the integrity of musicianship and quality that the industry requires. With Gary Lux, high output and time pressure does not lead to a sacrifice of standard. As a result, his services are continually in high demand.

Gary is highly regarded as one of the industry's foremost authorities of the 5.1 surround sound-mixing format. His credits include; Rob Thomas’ “Something To Be and Ben Harper & The Blind Boys of Alabama “Live At The Apollo” (which earned the 2005 Surround Music Award Winner, Best Concert Video), Janet Jackson’s “From Janet to Damita Jo,” Usher’s “8701,” Sting’s “Brand New Day, and Norah Jones “Live In New Orleans”. He most recently came back from Camp Buehring, in Kuwait, where he recorded and mixed Operation MySpace, a live HD broadcast on the internet featuring, Filter, Disturbed, Jessica Simpson, and The Pussy Cat Dolls.

To Gary Lux, his most gratifying contribution to the music industry is the many engineering careers he has played a pivotal role in helping to launch. Until forming his own successful independent recording company in 1988, he was the head music-scoring mixer for Universal Studios. He has two Emmy Award nominations for his work with The Jacksons, and Frank Sinatra.
